I have always been in love with the sound of the ‘Golden Era’ of Hollywood and ‘on another day’ is my attempt to recapture that sound. This piece takes its inspiration from the Bossa Nova made famous by the likes of Antônio Jobim and João Gilberto. With the laidback feel of the Bossa and lush harmonies this is an escape from it all for a brief moment. 
 
The normal orchestral instruments are augmented by the addition of Jazz Guitar, Bass Guitar and Drum set with the percussion section playing Claves and Shaker.
